PUBLIC NOTICE
Homeless Prevention Program (HPP)
The City of Dearborn Heights has established a program to assist low to moderate income individuals and families whose income has been negatively affected by COVID-19.
CARES ACT CDBG-CV funding will provide emergency grant payments for items such as housing (rent or mortgage) or utilities, made over a period of up to three consecutive months, to the provider of such items or services on behalf of an eligible Low/Moderate Income (LMI) individual or family.

Michigan COVID-19 Safety Grant Program
The Michigan COVID-19 Safety Grant Program awards small businesses matching funds - up to $10,000 - to decrease the risk of COVID-19 spread through safety and health-related equipment purchased and training in response to COVID-19. The goal of the program is to create a safer and healthier work environment and reduce the risk of exposure to the COVID-19 for Michiganders.

As of July 23, 2020, the Community & Economic Development Department (CEDD) has resumed the Emergency Rehabilitation (HVAC, ROOF, SEWER) portion of the Residential Rehabilitation Program. The full program will remain suspended until further notice.
